The 2023 race will be Tuesday 20th June. Starting from the grass triangle at Burley Woodhead. Your handicap will be based on a recent race/parkrun that you will need to submit with your entry. You can guess a time, but your handicap may (will) be harsher than if you submit a race/parkrun time! Anyone not providing a time starts with the last starter. You have been warned!

We welcome entries from all NLFR members and friends and are always open to new friends, but if you don’t already have links to the club, please email training@nlfr.co.uk before entering please.
The race is handicapped based on a recent race time (ideally a parkrun run recently before the race day and converted to a race time using Jack Daniels’ Running Calculator), with those predicted to take longest setting off first (from approximately 19.15) and then everyone setting off at at the time based on their handicap and the quickest runners setting off last (usually by 19.45). The winner is the first to cross the finish line!
The race route is below – there may or may not be marshals on the race day, so it’s up to you to know the route!
Course Records: Men: Harry Kingston 31:30 (2023), Women: Jenny Roberts 39:07 (2023).
